Is there an Ipad app that will edit MS Word documents without totally borking them?

If it can fix a couple of tricky past/present tense problems in my almost-finished story that would be a plus.

I am being encouraged to try out some mind mapping software at work.

*stamps foot* don' wanna!  I do not need to "sort out my mess of a mind" or do non-linear brainstorming! I like linear thinking and linear outlines and...linear stuff!

*grumble*

And it seems like it really just creates a big, round treelike outline, yes? I mean, so far it doesn't look like these apps can track many-to-many relationships, or intersectional groups, or that sort of thing.

Smith Micro is a good company, I've bought stuff from them before.  They're giving away Anime Studio 5 for free as a promo for the launch of version 6. Yay free graphics software!

I downloaded a demo of Liquid Story Binder and installed it on a thumb drive so I can carry my novel notes and drafts around from one computer to another. Handy since the laptop is in Charlie's room and my main PC is downstairs in my library.

Now all I have to do is test the software, then write up my novel notes, then write the first draft and I'll be well on my way! Right after I find the perfect notebook, discover the perfect nook for sitting and composing, and vacuum the cat.
