4th street second day

I simply cannot wind down this day! I have to sleep so I'm awake for sessions tomorrow but...my brain is on fire with STUFF. Everybody here is a writer! There is no such thing as running out of conversation. You can pick a person pretty much at random and talk for FIVE HOURS with no difficulty, and learn all kinds of stuff about writing, life, jobs, relationships, writing, music, writing. And that's between the singing and the other stuff - I left the music party at 2 am, and then stopped into the con suite to get something to drink, and hey, there were people there! People talking about writing! I tore myself away at 4 am but if there wasn't a session in the morning I would have stayed all night.

Now I must sleep, if I can.

I know! I keep wanting to sleep, to take a nap, and I can't, cause I keep thinking about all cool ideas! But if I don't get a nap in, I won't make it through tonight, and it'll be just as cool as the other nights. And it's the last last chance to talk to people!

Perhaps I'll try some breathing techniques to calm down and nap...

Oh, and I'm glad I got to talk to you, and that we met!
