I hope this doesn't mean you're planning to let yourself be zombified. Of course, once the little one comes into your life, sleep will become scarce and you'll feel like a zombie on some mornings.

c'mon, Serge, we're in I.T.! I'm testing a firewall cutover tonight at midnight, and yesterday evening was spent prepping a restore in case a filesystem rescue didn't work (it did work, thank goodness, so I got to go home at 9:30pm).

We're already zombies!

I know what you mean. I've been spending a good part of the last 2 weeks putting together some scripts that'll clean up the data feed that some other group within the corporation had been providing us for years, and it's only recently that the nincompoops noticed that, in some cases, the financials were inaccurate. The cleanup's target is this coming Friday. I'd probably have been done with this a bit earlier by working from home except that my laptop's hard-drive chose to crap out at the beginning of this project. I got the laptop back today, and have been checking it out and everything was looking good, until I opened the CD drive to load a printer driver. The moment I closed the drive, the screen went dark. I rebooted and everything looked good until I tried to sign on, at which point the screen went dark again.

Nothing to do with bras, but a lot t do with the zombification of the soul.
