Charlie had a little cough earlier; now he has a 101.5 fever. And he barfed. This is kind of a normal set of events around here, but we don't know why--either he's got his trillionth random infection, or he's allergic to his dinner and is working it out of his system. Tonight's din included chicken, which he hasn't ever gotten a rash from, but he also doesn't seem to like. And he's tested allergic to eggs, which have (surprise) some protein elements in common with chicken, so he may be allergic to chicken.

At any rate he is being very good, and I gave him some tylenol and benadryl and we lay on the couch together for a bit and watched "Ni-Hao Kai-Lan" (because he's so young we only let him watch TV if he is sick, and he looooves Ni-Hao Kai-Lan. Fortunately I like it pretty well too) and then I put him back to bed. I'll check his fever in half an hour and look at his chest to see how he's breathing. In the meantime I guess I'll play Fallout 3.
