-Kid has a cold.
-Kid also has norovirus. [eta: or rotavirus maybe]
-got puked on yesterday
-got puked on today
-also there was a bit of a poo explosion
-was up with kid til 11:30 pm
-Got paged from work at 3:40 am
-Worked until 5 am
-Kid got up at 5:30 am
-around 6 am, the muscle that connects my neck to my left shoulderblade seized up
-and has stayed that way despite various good remedies
-Despite having a perfectly wonderful, hands-on daddy, Kid wants to lie around on Mommy all day. Normally this is sweet.

This norovirus is A Bad Thing. Several of the young ladies and gentlemen of my acquaintance are currently having it, and I am sorry to hear that the lovely and talented C. has now been felled as well.

I don't trust those viruses one bit. They are constantly plotting against us.

Eep, what a horrible time you're all having. More virtual tea and sympathy flying your way. Can you get someone else to guard the fort while you catch up on some sleep at least? Sleep deprivation is really bad for muscles, in my experience. Incidentally, if your muscles play silly buggers on a regular basis then things like this (http://www.shavers.co.uk/shopping.php?product_id=566) are good. And have you tried tiger balm? /mother hen.
