A silver lining

In the past two months I have watched two remarkable women of color each move from a place of silence into a place of finding and creating a voice for herself.  There have been many compelling voices speaking, but these are two that I've had the privilege--using the positive sense of that word--to witness emerging from their chrysalises. 

(For the sake of their privacy I won't name them here.  Chances are you have heard their voices.)
