The problem with Criminal Minds

marydellEarlier this evening took a break from watching S1 of Criminal Minds, and walked to the 7-11 while Mike put the baby to bed. I stepped out on the stoop, looked at the big empty parking lot across from the house, and pictured myself walking halfway across the parking lot and then vanishing while the theme music played.
Then I actually did cross the parking lot, and then an alley, and then another parking lot, because that's the quick route to the 7-11. There were some empty cars, and a guy milling around talking on his cell phone, and by the time I got to the 7-11 I was TOTALLY FREAKED OUT. I took a different route home, with more street traffic and less eerie darkitude, but I was still nervous. Maybe watching 12 episodes in 5 days is too many?
Nah.
