Barometer

Is a barometer a useful thing?  I'm interested in having something I can look at to see how much Advil I should take on a given day.

Also, is anything going to make this fucking awful weather go away ever?

I don't know how useful it would be, but before spending the money, you might want to go over to Weather Underground (www.wunderground.com, and someday I will get used to that name) and see how close to your home the nearest personal weather station they get reports from is. There might be nothing within twenty miles, but you might find that your next-door neighbor is providing real-time temperature and pressure information on the web.

I was coming here to say essentially the same thing. I love the Weather Underground info... it's helped me track migraines since I moved to Chicago.
