You know, you can actually include articles that are "under consideration" at a journal in your CV, and they count more than if you were just prepping them. If they had a longer response time, I would be more tempted...

That's a point. I just *finally* got the reject on my story there (3 months, not counting the year during which they lost it entirely). Off to Asimov's next, as soon as I have five minutes free.
