I am incapable of correctly operating a daily pill-minder.  For two weeks in a row I have filled up the thing with pills on Saturday, S-M-T-W-T-F-S, and then taken the pills out of the first S for my Saturday doses, and continued onward through the week, not noticing until the end of the week that I'm a day ahead every day.  Last week I was just confused about it and didn't figure out what I had done; when I noticed it again just now, I had to sit and look at it for a bit before I  realized finally that I should take the pills out of the second S on Saturday, because that is actually where Saturday falls in the frelling week.  Realistically, though, I should just fill it on Sundays instead and avoid the whole problem.  Or maybe there's a pill that can help with this sort of thing.

I have the same problem.

I solved it by getting a pill thing that believes the week starts on Monday (which I think it does) and filling it Sunday night.

Relabel it so it works for your system. :) SSMTWTF.

Also, the elves delivered a box today, and it had tea and art stuff in it, which I poured over and smiled mightily about.

:D

Hooray! Glad it got there in good shape and that it made you smile. Enjoy in good health and heart.

Note about the paints: they are water-mixable, which means you don't need paint thinner, but if you want to use, uh, fattener? (I forget what it's called, I suck at oils) I believe you have to get the one that goes with the water-mixable oils and not whatever you're using with your regular oils.

I have done this, too!

Do you want an unused one of these (http://www.amazon.com/Compartment-Pill-Organizer-DEEP-Inch/dp/B000E13BVA)? Because I have one and can mail it to you, and it might solve all your problems. Never touched by human hands, except to open the package and show it to Dad, who found the whole idea too daunting.

Years ago at Fermilab, I was assigned to a crew that worked a complicated revolving schedule, some days eight hours, some days twelve hours.

It took months before I realized that on this schedule, I was sleeping only six times a week.

Oh, that's clever! And thank you for the offer. Unfortunately I have to use a childproof one, so if it has standard flip tops (as most do) it wouldn't be safe for Charlie.

How often did you see the sun?

Ah, of course! Silly me, for not thinking of that. It is indeed not childproof.

I wonder if there are childproof versions of that format, though?

There might be, I should have a look on amazon. Mine is probably not childproof for most kids, but it takes two hands to open, so mwah ha hah hah. SO MANY things are childproof by default in my house, I feel a bit guilty about this. Milk carton? Totally childproof! etc.
